Privacy Policy

Plain English, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not a privacy policy. Here is what we collect when you ask us for a consultation, why we need it, who else ever sees it, and how to make us delete it.

Last updated

The short version

  • We collect what you type into the form on this site, plus whatever you tell us on the phone.
  • We use it to answer you, price the work, pull the permit, and do the job.
  • We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to other contractors. There is no analytics or advertising tracking on this site today.
  • Ask us to delete it and we will, except for records a contractor is legally required to keep. Email info@uscopro.com.

1. What we collect

Almost all of it comes from you, on purpose, when you fill out the consultation form or call us. There is no hidden collection happening in the background of this site.

Your name
So we know who we are talking to, and who signs off on the scope.
Phone number
The fastest way to schedule an assessment. Most of this business still happens on the phone.
Email address
Where the written scope, the budget, photo documentation, and permit paperwork get sent.
Property address
We cannot assess a roof we cannot find. The address also decides which jurisdiction the permit gets pulled in, which decides which of our licenses applies.
Project details
Whatever you type into the message field — what happened, what you need, when the storm hit, what the last contractor did.
Insurance claim details
Only if you give them to us: carrier, claim number, adjuster name and contact. We ask for these only when we are supporting a storm claim.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or card numbers through this website. If a form claiming to be ours ever asks for those, it is not ours — stop and call the number at the bottom of this page.

2. What the server records automatically

Like every website, our hosting provider writes standard request logs: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. That is a byproduct of serving a web page and defending against bots and abuse, not a profile we build about you.

We do not connect those logs to your form submission, and we do not use them for advertising.

3. Why we collect it

  • To answer your question and schedule the free on-site assessment.
  • To write the scope and the budget, and then to do the work.
  • To document and support your insurance claim, when there is one.
  • To pull permits. Your name and property address go to the municipal or county building department because the permit application legally requires them.
  • To keep the records a contractor has to keep: signed contracts, change orders, permit files, warranty documentation, invoices, and tax records.

That is the whole list. You gave us your information so we would contact you about a project — we use it for that project.

4. What we do not do with it

  • We do not sell it. Not to lead brokers, not to marketing lists, not to anyone.
  • We do not rent, trade, or share it with other contractors so they can pitch you.
  • We do not use it to build advertising audiences or run retargeting against you.
  • We do not sign you up for a newsletter because you asked for a roof quote.

Storm-restoration lead data is bought and sold constantly in this industry. That is exactly why it is worth saying plainly: yours is not for sale.

5. Who else handles your information

A short list, because the list is short. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.

Resend
Email delivery. When you submit the consultation form, the contents of that submission are sent to our inbox through Resend, so your message passes through their systems in transit.
Our hosting provider
Serves the pages of this site and keeps the standard server logs described above.
Our email provider
Your message lands in a business inbox and stays there until it is cleaned out on the schedule in section 7.
Google Maps
The contact page embeds a map showing the office location. Loading the map sends a request to Google, which may set cookies to remember map preferences. We do not receive or use any of that data.
Subcontractors and suppliers
On your project only, and only what they need: name, site address, and scope. A roofing supplier gets a delivery address, not your claim file.
Your insurance carrier and adjuster
Only when we are supporting your claim, and only the documentation the claim requires.
Building departments
Municipal and county permit offices, as required to pull the permit for your job.
Law enforcement or courts
Only if we are legally compelled, or if we have to defend a legal claim.

6. Analytics, pixels, and cookies

As of August 12, 2026, this site has no analytics installed. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising tags, no session recording, no third-party chat widget, no call-tracking script.

Because there is no tracking, there are no advertising or analytics cookies to consent to, which is why you are not being interrupted by a cookie banner. Any cookie this site sets is strictly necessary for a page or form to function.

If we add analytics later — and a business this size eventually does, if only to see which pages get read — this section gets rewritten before the tool goes live, and the last-updated date at the top of this page changes with it. Treat that date as the honest signal.

7. How long we keep it

Inquiries that never became a project
Up to 24 months, then deleted. Roofing decisions are slow and people do come back a year later — but not five years later.
Project records
At least 7 years. Contracts, scopes, permit files, job photos, warranty documentation, and invoices have to outlive the warranty period and the window in which a construction claim can be brought in Colorado.
Accounting and tax records
As long as tax law requires, which is longer than we would otherwise keep them.
Server logs
Short-term, on our host's standard rotation.

8. Getting a copy, correcting it, or having it deleted

Email info@uscopro.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. Tell us your name and the phone number or email address you used, so we can find you and confirm it is actually you asking. We will respond within 45 days, and usually much faster than that.

We will delete what we can. We cannot delete what we are required to keep — a signed contract, a permit record filed with a municipality, a warranty file, a tax record. If something falls in that bucket we will tell you exactly what we kept and why, rather than quietly ignoring the request.

If you are a Colorado resident, the Colorado Privacy Act gives you rights to access, correct, delete, and get a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of its sale, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do not sell data, do not run targeted advertising, and do not profile you, so there is nothing there to opt out of — but the access, correction, and deletion requests get honored on request regardless of whether a company our size meets the thresholds in that statute.

9. Calls, texts, and email

When you give us a phone number, you are agreeing that we can call or text you about that inquiry and the project it turns into. That is the point of giving it to us.

We do not run marketing text blasts. If you want texts to stop, reply STOP or just tell whoever you have been talking to, and they stop.

10. Children

This site is for property owners and the people managing their projects. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you think a child sent us something through this site, email us and we will delete it.

11. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to the inbox and project files is limited to the people who need it to do the work.

What we will not tell you is that your data is perfectly safe, because no company can promise that and the ones who do are selling something. If a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you the way Colorado law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the last-updated date at the top changes with it. Material changes — a new analytics tool, a new processor, a new category of data — get stated plainly in the relevant section rather than buried in a rewrite.

13. How to reach us about any of this

Privacy questions, corrections, and deletion requests all go to the same place. A person reads them.

This policy describes how this website works today. It is not legal advice, and it does not create a contract. Our accessibility statement covers a separate commitment.

Still the same offer

Reading the fine print is a good instinct. So is getting the scope in writing.

The consultation and site assessment are free, and you get a written scope and a real budget before anyone mobilizes. We only need enough information to find the property and call you back.
